A gallery that explores the history of life on earth and processes that drive diversity.
Polly was lead content developer on the HLF bid for a new Natural History Gallery at the Horniman Museum. Through fossilized evidence and a range of animal case studies, the gallery explores the history of life on earth and processes that drive diversity. The use of exciting new science, special collections and multi-layered visitor experiences connects with the urban world and builds on one man’s fascination with nature to inspire us all. Using a combination of new and existing showcases within the gallery we aimed to retain some of the character of this ‘much-loved friend’. Polly also worked with the client to develop the interpretive program for the adjoining gardens.
